Gmail Setup
Connect Gmail to Hicio so your AI assistant can send and read support emails automatically.
This setup allows Hicio to automatically read incoming support emails and send AI-generated responses. Your AI assistant will handle customer inquiries 24/7 while maintaining proper email conversations.
⚡ This setup takes less than 2 minutes — no more Google Cloud Console setup required! Just connect your Gmail account and you're ready to go.
- In Hicio: go to Integrations → Gmail
- Click "Connect Gmail" button
- A Google login page opens — sign in with your Gmail account
- Grant permission for Hicio to access your Gmail inbox
- After approving, Hicio will complete the setup and show "Connected" status
✨ That's it! Your Gmail is now connected and ready to handle customer emails automatically.
- Send a test email to your support address
- Check that Hicio responds and that replies stay in the same email conversation
- If everything looks right, Gmail is successfully linked
"This app isn't verified" warning
If Google shows "This app isn't verified", click Advanced → Go to Hicio (unsafe) then Allow.
Connection breaks later
If the connection breaks later, simply click "Connect Gmail" again to re-authorize.
